Keagan had his picture in this weeks newspaper showing him fishing with his Grandpa Don! Click on the picture to enlarge it and read the caption.
Last month we went to the Watershed Festival. The kids had fun going to each booth and participating in craft projects that taught them about the environment. Then they fished for the first time and Annika caught one! We waited about 45 minutes but Keagan had no luck. Annika painted an eagle on some type of communal art project that everyone was adding to. She made a volcano erupt, painted on rocks, and studied animal tracks. We had free burgers and the kids even came home with a few free gifts including books from the community library and Annika even got a yo-yo. I just got the pictures transferred to the computer so here are a couple from that day.
