Fast Paced

This past week has been a whirlwind. On Monday both Annika and Keagan had physicals. They are both healthy and growing. Wednesday we took Annika to LaGrande to sign her up for summer ballet lessons. Then we went shopping for her birthday party. On Thursday she helped me bake her cupcakes for her party. She read the directions and measured everything out. I let her mix it and then I took over. On the 4th we got up early to watch the Old Fashioned Parade in Wallowa. Then we drove through the flea market in Lostine on our way back to Enterprise for Rylan Coulson's 3rd birthday party. The kids had fun at his Bug Safari party and then we had to go home to repack for the evening. We then went to Wallowa Lake for a potluck and to watch fireworks. The 3 oldest kids stayed awake the entire time until eleven when we headed home. Xander didn't even fall asleep until the professional fireworks started at ten o'clock. So we got to bed around midnight and then after a typical night up with the twins I got up at six to start cleaning the house for Annika's party today. Everyone pitched in to get our house and yard ready. We had carnival games and prizes. Annika got lots of great gifts that she loved and all her friends came to play. I am ready to collapse now. Thanks to everyone who's spent time with us recently. We are having so much fun here in Oregon this summer. It makes us thankful that we decided to move our family here.
