Today it is raining yet again. And I have not posted on here the entire month of April. We have been busy with spring time chores. Annika finished dance and started T-ball this month. She has two games per week the entire month of May, Mondays and Wednesday nights. I am in week 4 of the Spring term at OSU which is challenging while taking care of four kids. Eva wants to potty train, we can't even keep pull ups on her, she just pulls them off and goes on the floor! It's been interesting because Xander is not ready at all to learn to use the potty. Neither of them can even tell me they have to go yet. We got her a potty chair but it has too many parts for them to take apart and pinch fingers. I am thinking of getting an all one piece to train them in, so if any of you have one like that or know where I could find one (besides online at Walmart) please let me know. People ask me a lot about Xander's illness, if it's getting worse and how he's doing. I'm not sure the right answer to this. It hasn't gone away, but he is growing and happy so we have just been living with it which may just be what he has to do his entire life. He still has the episodes once in a while and over the past two months he has started showing signs of reflux which he has never done before even though we knew he had "silent reflux". There is no mention from his doctor of doing any more tests or seeing anyone again and for the time being we are not pushing that. The doctor's at St. Lukes gave us a lot of valid and great information we had been looking for. We have a list of things he does not have and a better understanding of what he might have. The hope is that in the next year or two as he grows (and boy is he) that his nerves will fully develop and the problem will correct itself. Ok well it's Sunday and I am determined to get this mountain of laundry finished in my home. I hope your homes are all safe, healthy, and happy this Spring.
