Hola mi familia
It's half way through October and this fall has gone by fast. I've just finished the 3rd week of this semester and I still feel like I'm just starting. I have Spanish and also a global resource ecology class that is very difficult.
Annika just got her school pictures back. She's working on measuring in school and reading chapter books, 200 minutes per month homework! She finishes up soccer this weekend and starts wrestling and up and away next week.
Keagan enjoys school and is getting better at behaving while there. He's super smart and passed his letter recognition test with a 100%. He's starting to learn sight words for reading and he is also going to take wrestling this year which starts soon. He spends most of his free time on the video games.
Eva is now in daycare while I'm at school and she enjoys having new toys to play with and a new slide to go down. She is such a little mommy and makes sure before she tucks herself in at night (Miss independent) that she's got her baby pony all tucked in beside her with her bottle to feed her. Eva has had the same flu we got and she is taking longer to get over the stuffy nose.
Xander also loves daycare but can't seem to get along with Eva for longer than ten minutes in any setting. I get reports of him biting her and bullying her when I pick them up. This isn't surprising, he does the same thing at home. Unfortunately he is two and unable to communicate with us. He is so frustrated that he can't talk he tries to shout jibberish to us all the time.
The twins are learning to talk more, Eva just yesterday said "That's a block" and I've heard her say stuck, sock, shoes, and feet. Xander says "get the ball", "it's a dog", and toe.
Joe has been driving to LaGrande 4 times a week for school. He's stuck taking math this term which is really tough since he hasn't taken a math class for a while. He's enjoying his other classes and wishes the drive were shorter!
I hope everyone's prepared for the upcoming holidays, take care!
Saludos~
xoxo
