Six years ago I went to the hospital after being in labor for two days and a 8 lb 4 0z blonde haired blue eyed baby boy was delivered. Keagan Wesley Jaymes we named him and brought him home to his big sister who has forgoten since then what it was like to not have him there with her. They are as close as twins, fight the same way and are bonded much the same way. There are differences of course in the way they relate because of the age difference and developmental gap between Annika and Keagan but I see them as best friends, roomates, and siblings in a way that they cherish unknowingly as they grow.
The energy Keagan requires to parent him in a positive way has exhausted his father and I to no end. After the twins were born I always told people that Keagan took more effort than my other 3 kids combined. But the reward from him, the energy he gives back is uncomparable to anything I've ever experienced. When he shows you he loves you it isn't just with words but with feeling and joy that has no rival. He exudes energy so much that when you are around him sometimes you absorb it if not become ran over by it!
There aren't enough words or even one single word to explain the way I feel about Keagan. He is my first son, my precious sun, my prince I couldn't live without.
