1ST Grade

Today was Annika's first day of first grade. I am so proud of her, she wasn't nervous at all. She has Mrs. Voss this year who was my 2nd grade teacher when I was in grade school. How neat is that! Keagan had a tough day waiting for her to get out though. He starts school on Tuesday. The bus will pick him up in the morning and drop him off after lunch.

Xander has had eight episodes today. His doctor is thinking about pulling him off the reflux medicine since he isn't showing any signs of improving and he has no symptoms of reflux. She is mailing me some research information that has to do with some various syndromes he may have. We might be in for a long waiting game with him just to see how he develops.

One week from Saturday we will be having a small party for the twins. It's been a mess around here and very busy with school that we aren't doing a lot. I am making two cakes and we will have ice cream and maybe a couple small gifts for them. We are saving our money to buy them a new floor. We are going to take out the carpet which is original in this house so it is very old and dirty. We are replacing it with EVA foam tiles. They are cheaper than carpet, sanitary for the twins, soft for them to crawl on, and last but not least easy for mom to clean!
