Xander had his digitrace machine removed on Saturday and besides some residual glue in his hair he's doing fine. I just spoke with the lady from the Early Intervention program that Kegan, Eva, and Xander have all been referred to. Keagan was referred by his teacher at head start and the twins were referred by their doctor. I've mentioned to the doctor that Xander shows some signs of sensory problems and when I mentioned that he loved the back pack that his EEG machine was in even though it was heavy then she brought up a good point. It could have made him secure enough and given him the necessary weight he needed to stand and try to walk. Now that it's off he isn't making that attempt, so she asked if we had any little backpacks around here. As a matter of fact I think Annika has a few and we are going to weigh it down and do a little experiment of our own. She will be doing a home visit with the twins on Monday and if the back pack seems to improve his mobility then we will be referred to an occupational therapist to start testing him for sensory and motor skill problems. We go back to Boise on the 14th of October for a follow up exam and also for the results of this test. I'm not sure I can wait that long, I might call them next week just to check and see if they know anything.
It is storming right now, the rain is blowing in sideways. I love it, it makes me want to curl up with hot chocolate and a movie. I think tonight we'll do pizza and movies. I'm excited watching the seasons change and looking forward to Halloween. The big kids have their costumes already and I am just deciding if I want to buy Eva one or put together one for her.
I'll keep you all updated!

Hot chocolate and a movie does sound good. I will continue to pray for Xander's health. I too love the changes of the season. It seems like summer just ended abruptly over the weekend. Here comes Fall!
