Cheer Camp & Kidfest

Friday Annika had cheercamp where she got to spend the first half of the day with the Enterprise Highschool cheerleaders and if we could have made it she would have cheered with them that night at home game. However it was late, cold, and we had kidfest that afternoon and evening. They said if we sign up for the next one during basketball season she will get a discount and get to cheer in a basketball game so that even the twins could go. After her camp then we went to kidfest with my dad for the day. They had free gifts, free food, a petting zoo, lots of good information on safety for the adults to read over, a jumping castle thingy, crafts, facepainting, and clowns. And the best part was that the kids saw some of their friends. Amie and the Coulson kids were there and we ate with them. Devon even won a door prize! We waited until all the prizes were drawn and none of my kids won, but they still had an amazing time. At the end there was live music that my dad and the twins sat and listened to. The twins were dancing but when I grabbed the camera they stopped. And I also should point out that during cheer camp I came in at the end and tried to tape them doing the last couple cheers but you can hardly see her in all those girls. She's wearing light blue pants and a dark navy colored shirt. On the second one she is standing behind some taller girls and you don't see her until after it's over. But that was my only chance so I recorded it anyway. Next time I will plan better! Here is a montage of videos and pictures from that day. Be sure to play it through once while you do something else, and then play it again. This allows the entire thing to load and doesn't bug you while it's loading/buffering every ten seconds. I say this because it drives me nuts to watch it and it's my kids! I hope everyone is ready for Halloween, we will be once Joe gets home and we do pumpkins this week.
